Galentine’s Day is quickly approaching. Nope, I didn’t make a spelling error. You read correctly.

I was never big on the whole Valentine’s Day thing. Some of us just don’t do it. Even when I wasn’t single, I felt like it was just a Hallmark holiday that most people use an excuse to overly obsess about how in love they are; when really you shouldn’t need a designated day for that, but that’s just my opinion.

While the ‘taken’ category of humans spends their time drowning in flowers, red lipstick, and all of the other February 14th stereotypes, at a fancy restaurant, posting cheesy couple pictures on Instagram, I figure why not join in the fun by rounding up my single girlfriends and having a GALENTINES DAY get together! It’s a great excuse to continue to empower your other single, female friends, and remind them that we are strong, independent, fabulous, and fun.

OK, FINE. The truth is, we are always up for an excuse to have a girls night.
